A 14-year-old shot and killed his parents after a late-night argument, then he called 911 to turn himself in, Florida authorities said.

Trevor Lee is now charged with two counts of second-degree murder , according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Michelle Cook said dispatch got a 911 call shortly after midnight on Aug. 4 from a 14-year-old reporting he had killed his parents .

Lee went on to say his mom and dad could be found at his home in Middleburg, and he had walked about a mile away to a church, where he would wait for law enforcement to take him into custody, according to the sheriff.

Deputies said they arrived at the church and arrested the 14-year-old, while another set of first responders went to the home and found two people dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
