Gas prices in Michigan dropped by a dime since last week, making the average $3.13 per regular unleaded gallon, AAA – The Auto Group announced Monday.

The price is 6 cents less than a month ago and 56 cents below the same time in 2024, officials said.

Motorists in the state are paying an average of $46 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.

Average gas prices in Detroit have dropped 2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.18 on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,734 stations.
