An annual, spooky transformation is seemingly underway across California as Spirit Halloween readies for another season in your city’s former Rite Aid , Party City , Big Lots — basically any space once used by a major retailer.

The popular, seasonal costume and decor retailer announced on Wednesday, July 30 that their online store locator was live for this year, helping give fans early insights into where, and when, Spirit Halloween will open near them across the state.

At least three Spirit Halloween stores in California were open as of Aug. 2 of last year.

It comes as Spirit Halloween celebrated their virtual grand opening on Friday, Aug. 1, showing off on their social media just some of what will be available for sale this year, including costumes from popular shows and games
