LA PUENTE – A 56-year-old man shot to death in La Puente was identified by authorities Monday.

The shooting was reported at 11:57 p.m. Saturday and occurred in the 100 block of South Shipman Avenue, according the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The man, later identified by the county medical examiner’s office as Jesus Rodriguez-Rocha, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information or details about what led to the shooting have been released.
