CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCRG) - UNI head men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson has signed a contract extension, keeping him Cedar Falls for the next five years, Director of Athletics Megan Franklin announced Monday.

The winningest coach in Northern Iowa men’s basketball history, Jacobson signed a five-year rolling contract.

Jacobson is entering his 20th season at the helm of the Panthers. His 374 victories rank second all-time among Missouri Valley Conference head coaches.

Jacobson’s Panthers have won four MVC regular season championships and four conference tournament championships.
