So much for Charles Cross returning late this month.

He’s already back.

The Seahawks’ starting left tackle was in full pads practicing with his teammates on the first unit during offensive-line drills Monday morning in the 11th practice of training camp. It was less than a week since he left camp to have surgery in Los Angeles for a dislocated ring finger on his right hand.

Instead of the cast he had on while watching practice Friday, Cross practiced with an oven mitt-looking black pad over his right hand. He did individual position drills Monday. Veteran backup “swing” tackle Josh Jones again was the starting left tackle in team scrimmaging Cross watched.
