Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that has claimed the life of a man.

It happened around 7:17 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of Charles Street. That area is near Ann Street.

Once officers and fire medics arrived, they found 32-year-old Kentaris Couch dead from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

No word on any suspects at this time.
