BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Allen Academy ushers in a new era with first-year head coach Alex Simpson, who was the defensive coordinator for the Rams the last four years. Here is a preview of the Rams:

COACH — Alex Simpson (first year coaching at Allen, 23-20 in 4 years as defensive coordinator)

2024 SEASON — 5-5. In the coach’s words: “Against the odds, we pushed through a season with low roster numbers and exceeded expectations every step of the way. This team showed grit, heart, and resilience, and for the first time in years, we brought home a first-round playoff win. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. This season tested us in every way, especially with our low roster numbers. But we didn’t back down. We adapted, we stayed strong, and we were Ram tough through it all.”
