Denver Summit FC is keeping it local.

Colorado native Ally Watt will be the first player in Denver Summit FC history after she was traded to Denver from Orlando Pride of the NWSL, according to an ESPN report Monday.

Watt was born and raised in Colorado Springs and attended Pine Creek High School. She was immediately loaned back to Orlando Pride for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Denver Summit FC will play its inaugural season in 2026.

Denver Summit FC reportedly received $75,000 in expansion allocation money and $37,500 in transfer funds, the ESPN report said.

Watt is a forward who has one goal and one assist this season. She was a track and field star at Pine Creek, where Watt won state sprinting titles in 2012, 2013 and 2014. She played college soccer at Texas A&M.
