AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Andre Cojoe will reportedly miss the entire season with a knee injury. OnTexasFootball was the first to report the news.

Cojoe, a 6-foot-6, 335-pounder, was on the path to potentially win the starting spot at right tackle, but now the injury throws a wrench into things. It certainly hurts the team's depth at the position and could elevate freshman Brandon Baker into a larger role, possibly becoming the starter.

Cojoe appeared in four games last season, playing in the season opener against Colorado State, along with games versus UTSA, Louisiana Monroe and Florida. The Grand Prairie, Texas, native was a top-100 tackle by 247Sports when coming out of Mansfield Timberview High School.
