Cinemaphiles may scoff at this next statement, but sometimes (often), I enjoy watching movies purely for the visuals—meaning, I could care less about the actual plot, character development, or big, climactic ending. Can’t a movie just be fun to look at? Not everything needs to be as masterfully-written as Citizen Kane or The Godfather. Specifically, I love seeing the unsung fashion in B-movies. Films that were critically-panned at the time, but feature a killer wardrobe nonetheless. For instance: 20 years ago today, one such feature film— Supercross —made its debut on the big screen; I still find its edgy racing style compelling today.
