HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- Harrisburg will offer free parking downtown on Tuesday night.
The city said Mayor Wanda Williams made the decision to accommodate National Night Out, which will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Strawberry Square.

During normal hours, much of the parking in the Downtown Improvement District is only free from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to Park Harrisburg. Areas outside of the designated zone have varied hours.
Park Harrisburg, which is managed by SP+ through a long-term leasing agreement, stopped offering its LUVHBG promotional code back in April. The code unlocked free parking downtown.
Without the code, visitors must pay to park downtown Monday through Saturday, even during special events like
