The largest recreational investment in Irving’s history is slated to be delivered in 2027.
The city is investing $75 million to develop and expand its Mustang Multi-Generational Community Center and Indoor Aquatics Facility off Kinwest Parkway just south of I-635. The 127,000-square-foot new complex will be seven and half times larger than the current Mustang Center and will feature an indoor golf simulator, exercise studios, playground and an active senior adult center.
Construction on the facility is currently underway and is expected to be completed in early 2027, according to the city’s website.
