MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - “Dude, football is the greatest thing ever created.”

Vibes are pretty positive right now around Mishawaka football, and for good reason.

Last year, the Cavemen went 11-3 and made it all the way to semi-state, But now in 2025, it’s about achieving more than that.

“The word we’re using this year is fight, the expectation is that we fight,” says head coach Keith Kinder. “We’ve been close. We’ve knocked on the door a few times, and we want to fight through the door and get to hold the ultimate trophy. Our guys have big goals, big aspirations.”

This team is already embracing that combative mantra.
