Shoppers at a high-end supermarket have been cautioned with a "please do not eat" warning for a favoured item, following a packaging error. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has broadcasted a product recall notice, alerting that individuals with coeliac disease, and/or a gluten or wheat allergy or intolerance, might fall ill if they ingest the product. ‌

The FSA announced: "Booths is recalling Aberdeen Angus Beef Meatballs because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label, due to a packing error causing the product to contain burgers instead of meatballs. The packaging states that the product is gluten free which is incorrect. ‌
