Sealcoating work is set to begin on Thursday, Aug. 7, on several streets across Peoria. The city’s Public Works Department announced that residents who will be directly affected by the roadwork will receive a door hanger notification 24 hours before the start of the project.

Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from the street once notified. "No parking and other traffic signs will be placed on selected streets. No parking areas will remain in effect until the project is completed, and the no parking signs have been removed," according to the city.
