CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) - Pinellas County students and staff are honoring the life of a district police officer, Tuesday.

Sergeant Greg Graff died last week after suffering a medical emergency at Clearwater High School.

Leaders with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office say Sgt. Graff served with the school police force for seven years and previously worked for the Douglas Police Department for 29 years. He leaves behind a spouse, three children, and six grandchildren.

According to PCSO, Sgt. Graff was transported to the hospital when he collapsed following an active assailant exercise at Clearwater High School. He died at approximately 4:14 p.m.

Tuesday's tributes include a motorcade with the Pinellas County Schools Police, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Clearwater Police Department
