The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has cautioned that motorists may encounter substantial delays whilst on the road when weather conditions deteriorate. ‌

Torrential downpours and strong winds can significantly heighten the likelihood of hold-ups and traffic incidents. ‌

Consequently, drivers are being encouraged to prepare their routes in advance and examine road conditions prior to departure.
