(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls native and longtime physical therapist is in ICE custody, and his family is speaking out. Vone Phrommany, who now lives in Arizona, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement last week and has since been moved between multiple detention centers. His sister says there’s been little communication from officials and insists he’s not a threat as someone who’s spent over two decades serving his community. The family is calling on the public and lawmakers for support, hoping he’ll be allowed to stay in the country.
