Good Morning Britain viewers were left furious after watching Tuesday's instalment of the show. The morning broadcast was presented by Ed Balls and Kate Garraway , as they shared the news of a new migrant policy, which will help to tackle those coming into the UK on small boats across the Channel. ‌

The presenters announced that the new "one in, one out" migrant deal between the UK and France has come into force. This means that some people crossing the channel in small boats can be detained and sent back to the continent, in exchange for taking an asylum seeker who hasn't tried to cross into the country illegally, the Express reports. ‌
