CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Head coach Zac Taylor gave his first indication of just how much Joe Burrow and other Bengals starters will play in Thursday’s preseason opener.
Burrow, along with Cincinnati’s big-name stars, will play a couple of series against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Taylor has been clear this offseason that the Bengals’ starters will play more in the preseason.
While the starters will play some Thursday, coach Taylor said the starters will play more in the second preseason game against the Washington Commanders.
Mike Gesicki will not play Thursday, but coach Taylor said it is nothing serious.
Trey Hendrickson, BJ Hill, Dax Hill and Cam Taylor-Britt will also be sidelined for Thursday’s game.
