A Purdue University student held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a Louisiana facility was released late Monday, according to media reports.

Yeonsoo Go, a 20-year-old South Korean student and daughter of an Episcopal priest, was placed in federal detention at Richwood Correctional Center, The Washington Post reported.

Go's name no longer appeared in ICE inmate records Tuesday morning.

Go was arrested on a claim she overstayed her religious visa, The Lafayette Journal & Courier, which covers Lafayette, Indiana, reported.
