Spirit Airlines announced two new routes to sunny Caribbean destinations on Tuesday, both of which are set to start later this year.

The first to launch will be Fort Lauderdale to Belize City, Belize, on Nov. 21. The airline will serve the airport three times weekly, with flights once a day on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Spirit is offering $85 one-way fares from Fort Lauderdale to promote the new route.

Then, on Dec. 4, Spirit will begin three-day-a-week service from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Those flights will operate once a day on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and Spirit is offering $66 one-way fares from Fort Lauderdale in promotion.

According to the airline, it will be the only carrier to fly nonstop from Fort Lauderdale to both destinations when those services begin.

"This is a win for travelers across our network, who are gaining more access to top destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America as we continue to expand service from Fort Lauderdale," John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines said in a statement.
