SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A big day for a Vermont electric aircraft manufacturer.

Beta airlines tells us they did their first customer delivery today. They delivered one of their Alia electric planes to a company in Norway.

That company will fly the plane on Beta’s behalf for several months. Their team got training at Beta’s site in South Burlington, Vermont this summer.

Beta’s aircraft are still in the process of getting Federal Aviation Administration approval in the U.S.
