Library to show ‘Drop’

WELLSBURG — The Follansbee Library will show the movie “Drop,” rated PG-13, at noon on Aug. 15. Those attending are permitted to bring a lunch. Popcorn and water will be provided.

The film is centered around a widowed mother named Violet, who works up the courage to go on her first date in years with a photographer named Henry. The couple’s chemistry is interrupted by a series of anonymous drops to Violet’s phone, which show a masked intruder entering her home and ordering her to follow a series of instructions. If she does not do exactly as told, her loved ones will die. Her unseen tormentor’s final directive? Kill Henry.

Those interested in attending are asked to reserve a seat by calling the library at (304) 527-0860 or visit brookecountylibs.org/events.
