WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. (WTRF)— Kennywood is preparing for its longest and most intense Halloween event yet as Phantom Fall Fest returns Sept. 12 through Nov. 1, featuring a new haunted house and expanded horror-themed entertainment.

This year’s event will introduce Detached, a new haunted house that plunges guests into the disturbing world of a puppet maker whose obsession with crafting the perfect marionette has turned violent. Set inside a creepy toy store, visitors will navigate scenes of deranged dolls and dismembered creations, all while avoiding becoming part of the Puppet Master's collection.

In total, Phantom Fall Fest will offer six haunted houses and four scare zones, including returning favorites such as mAlice in Wonderland Unleashed, Dark Shadows and Shady Grove. The park transfo
