STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — McDonald’s is bringing back its whimsical McDonaldland universe for the first time in over two decades, inviting customers to reconnect with beloved characters like Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese and the Fry Friends.

Starting Aug. 12, fans can experience this nostalgic revival through the new McDonaldland Meal, which features a limited-edition Mt. McDonaldland Shake alongside either a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and trademark fries.
