OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - The 27th annual Owensboro Multicultural Festival is set to begin next week.
According to a press release, thousands of people gather on the lawn of First Presbyterian Church on the third Saturday of August to celebrate the diversity of our community at the Owensboro Multicultural Festival.
Officials say attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to encounter world cultures through music, food, art, dance and exhibits.
It kicks off with the ceremony at 10 a.m. with music from a joint Owensboro High School/Daviess County High School Choir and the annual People’s Parade.
There will be more than 50 exhibit booths highlighting world cultures and community organizations.
The festival takes place on August 16.
