JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman is facing charges in connection with a fire that severely damaged a historic building in Jackson County.
According to court documents, Shelia Clemons was arrested Wednesday on a federal charge of arson of property affecting interstate commerce.
The charge stems from a fire that broke out the night of July 30 at the Old Annville Institute, which housed Grace Covenant Ministries.

Federal investigators with the ATF were called in to assist after the fire, which heavily damaged the building. Most of the structure’s walls collapsed as flames spread through the main section.
