FORT GREENE — THEATRE FOR A NEW AUDIENCE’S (TFANA) NAMED DOROTHY RYAN as its new executive director. Ryan is a respected leader who has a longstanding history with Brooklyn arts organizations. TFANA created and runs the largest in-depth program to introduce Shakespeare and classic drama in New York City’s public schools.

After more than two decades as the organization’s managing director, Ryan will step into the new role on Sept. 1. TFANA is adopting a shared leadership model with an artistic director and an executive director.
