CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Chester County Sheriff’s Office experienced a unique moment of teamwork when 911 Training Coordinator, Allie, heard the cries of a kitten trapped beneath the storm drains.
She quickly got a team of people from the office to initiate a rescue mission. Joining her in the rescue were James (NCIC TAC), Ross (IT Assistant), Hope (Sheriff’s Administrative Assistant), and Michelle (Fiscal Manager).
After carefully removing the grate, James climbed down into the drain and safely rescued the kitten.
Allie made the decision to adopt the kitten and named her Eliyah Saar.
