Two people are dead after a home invasion that took place in northern Rockingham County on Sunday night.

Rockingham County Sheriff Office deputies responded to an emergency call regarding a home invasion in the 13000 block of North Valley Pike around midnight Sunday night. When they arrived on the scene, deputies found Holly Hatcher, 62, of Broadway, dead. The caller, Michael Hatcher, 65, was suffering from visible injuries after a struggle with an armed intruder.

Deputies found another male in the driveway, deceased. The man was later identified as Kevin Moses Walker, 41, of Pikesville, Maryland. Deputies determined Michael Hatcher sustained his injuries during an altercation with Walker.
