CHARLOTTE — Rookie safety Lathan Ransom is on a hot streak.

And he's bringing friends with him.

The fourth-rounder followed up Saturday's 80-yard reception on a fake punt with a handful of plays Tuesday, including a dramatic interception.

Ransom cut in front of veteran wideout Adam Thielen to snag the ball, and once he broke free, he started looking for reinforcements.

He didn't have to look far, as safety Nick Scott and cornerback Chau Smith-Wade were trailing closely behind as he waved for them to join him.

Once they got to the end zone, they broke out in a dance, complete with choreographed handshakes as he flung the ball away.

That kind of energy is a plus, but Canales said what he likes about Ransom so far is his ability to be in the right place at the right time.
