CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with the killing of a Shelby woman in late July was arrested in Charlotte on Tuesday, investigators said.

Marlow Anthony Johnson was identified as a suspect in the death of Tamia Logan, who was found shot to death outside her home on Baker Drive in Shelby on July 18. Deputies obtained warrants for Johnson's arrest for first-degree murder.

Cleveland County deputies said Johnson was arrested in Charlotte on Aug. 5. He is charged with murder in connection with Logan's death. No other suspects have been identified in the case at this time.
