WAUSAU − The Friends of Marathon County Public Library will hold a members-only sale Aug. 16. According to a community announcement, the event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St.

Items for sale include hardcover and paperback books, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs of TV series and movies, artwork, board games and puzzles. All items are either donated by the public or removed from the library's collection.

This sale is exclusive to Friends of the Marathon County Public Library members. Those interested can download and mail an application before the sale or join on-site for $10 per person or $15 per family, valid through 2025.
