Yaracuy State Governor Leonardo Intoci, accompanied by the Secretary of Citizen Security, Rogelio Vázquez, and senior police and military officials from the region, confirmed this Tuesday the arrest of the two suspects involved in the murder of 22-year-old Génesis Medina, which occurred last Saturday afternoon.

The state leader confirmed the arrests, made this Monday, and assured that the investigations to determine the motive for the crime are progressing steadily and that the law will be rigorously enforced.

He also called for people not to link the individual actions of the alleged killer, who is an administrative officer of the Scientific, Criminal, and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), with the police force, which, he stated, is actively collaborating in the investigation.
