McGregor road work “on track,” Mobile councilman says

The long-awaited improvements to South McGregor Avenue are “on track” and “on budget” and should be completed later this year, Councilman Joel Daves said at the end of Tuesday’s Mobile City Council meeting.

“Right now, they’re working on the mother of all roundabouts at Dauphin (Street) and McGregor (Avenue),” Daves said during the meeting’s section for comments from council members. “It’s an amazing project still expected to be completed around the end of the year sometime. Let’s keep our fingers crossed we won’t have any adverse weather events slow us down.”
