Hundreds of St. Pete residents could have water turned off over 'unpaid bills from owner'

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) -- Hundreds of people could see their taps run dry, because of unpaid bills at two apartment complexes.

The City of St. Petersburg notified residents living at the Morgan on 54th Avenue South, and at the Elements on Third on 3rd Avenue North that they could lose water service if the bills are not paid by the owner.

The City of St. Petersburg sent a notice to hundreds of residents living at the two apartment complexes letting them know they've "exhausted all attempts to resolve the issue with Lurin Real Estate Holdings," and "regretfully, we have now reached a critical point that will impact utility services to all of the tenants."
