ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying suspects in an Edgewood Avenue shooting where police said one person was hurt.

Officers first responded to Grady Memorial Hospital just after midnight on Monday, July 28. There, they found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his left foot. He was alert, conscious, and breathing while being treated by the hospital's staff.

The shooting occurred nearly two hours before the mass shooting on Edgewood Avenue that left one dead and several others hurt. Police are still working to identify the suspects in that shooting.
