DECATUR, Ga. — An Ellenwood man convicted in a deadly double Valentine's Day shooting involving his ex-girlfriend was sentenced to life in prison following a jury trial in July.

On February 14, 2024, police were called to an apartment complex on Embarcadero Road in Stonecrest. Once on the scene, they found 23-year-old Paul Wilson and a 28-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. Medical attention was provided to the woman who was wounded in the leg and chest.
