ATLANTA — Police were at the scene early Thursday after a person was shot and killed at a Buckhead apartment building.

The incident happened at the Cortland at Buckhead Village apartments, located on Pharr Road in the heart of Buckhead.

Initial information was limited. 11Alive's Sefenech Henok was on scene and reports police were still going in and out of the building, taking photos and working the scene around 7 a.m.
