AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We’re hearing from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office following a shooting over the weekend that killed a 14-year-old and injured three others as young as 12 .

The whole tragedy has left the community in grief and searching for answers .

Deputies were already concerned about crime among young people, and only last week rolled out a protocol for curfews that authorities believe will guide young people in the right direction.
