BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — The general public was recently granted a unique opportunity to see, hear and interact with 14 sitting civil court judges endorsed by the Brooklyn Democratic Party (BDP) to become elevated into nine statewide Supreme Court seats in the November general election.

Approximately 100 spectators attended a Judicial Candidate Community Forum courtesy of the BDP on Aug. 3 at Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street.

The town-hall style forum was moderated by the BDP’s Judiciary Committee, which included Michael Boomer, committee chair, AD 57; Kenesha Traynham Cooper, AD 56; Jacqueline Painter, AD 51; Tony Ko, AD 49; and Sarana Purcell, AD 43 — in addition to Vladimir Edouard of the Brooklyn Young Democrats.
