John Cirillo has taken a complete U-Turn.
For most of his adult life, the Nazareth Regional High School grad promoted and publicized sports teams, events and athletes.
This time – it’s all about family. His family, in his new book, “Marbles on An Unpaved Road.”
Why the turn?
“My nephew and I were talking awhile back,” he told the Brooklyn Eagle. “We shared memories of different things and family. We exchanged texts and, well I did the book.”
Cirillo grew up in Sheepshead Bay – 2308 Jerome Avenue to be exact – and attended St. Marks Grammar School. “Our family lived in the same house for 60 years,” he said. “It was my mom and dad, grandparents, sister and her two kids – Timmy and Christine.
“It was just a great family experience growing up in Sheepshead Bay, and I wanted to share it.
