The four men accused of drugging and sexually assaulting three teenage girls in San Marcos were idue in court Tuesday, but, instead, charges were not filed against them.

The men were arrested after. San Diego County Sheriff's Office investigators said on Saturday, they drugged and sexually assaulted the girls — ages 16, 17, and 17 — in Apartment 14 at the Mission Park Condominiums in the 200 block of Woodland Parkway.

While the men had been slated to be formally charged in the Vista courthouse on Tuesday, their hearing was delayed.

The sheriff's office has not disclosed what led investigators to suspect the men, nor what relationship, if any, existed between them and the teens. Little is known about the girls, but two of the men face charges of arranging a meeting with a minor. Other ch
