TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida DOGE continued to make its way around the state with a stop in Manatee County Tuesday afternoon.

"We're going to spend about three or four days on site," CFO Blaise Ingoglia said. "We're going to take all the information back to Tallahassee. We're going to pore through this."

Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia said the DOGE investigations people are seeing statewide are driven by property tax concerns. However, critics argue it's just a distraction.

"At some point, there is going to be property tax relief, whether it is done locally by cities or counties or if it's going to be done constitutionally by the ballot," Ingoglia said.
