Florida football held its sixth practice of fall camp Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Sanders Practice Fields.

In all, the Florida Gators will practice 17 times to prepare for the grind of the 2025 season, which starts Aug. 30 against Long Island University.

Florida went in full pads as it ramped up some blocking and contract drills. The Gators will open the season as the No. 17 team in the country per the US LBM coaches poll , with a squad that returns eight starters on offense, eight starters on defense and starting kicker Trey Smack.
