YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Dr. Heath Branham is coming into a school district that already had high grade numbers and high teacher retention, but it's not stopping him from striving for more to make the district even better.
"We're always continuously striving to collaborate more to serve kids like we have a theme this year to be seen, to be heard, to belong, because we know when students belong to a group, an organization, a club band or athletics, whatever, that their chance for success academically is exponential," Dr. Branham said.
