DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- A woman has died from her injuries sustained in a crash last week.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol's Wapakoneta Post, a two-vehicle crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. on July 30 on State Route 197 near Conant Road.
OSP reports a Honda CR-V failed to stop at a stop sign on Conant Road and struck a Chevrolet Silverado traveling along OH-197. Both vehicles went off the road into a cornfield and the Chevy overturned.
Both a driver and a passenger in Chevy were seriously injured and transported to the hospital.
OSP reports the passenger, identified as 35-year-old Tara Skeens, died on Aug. 4 from her injuries.
The Honda driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police. He sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized in stable condition as of Aug. 5.
