ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Rowan County law enforcement is searching for an alleged burglary suspect who might be injured, officials say.

Around 8:23 p.m. on August 5, deputies were called to the 400 block of Crawford Road to investigate a reported residential breaking and entering. The caller informed deputies that he could see an individual coming out of his house.

The suspect, who had already fled into the woods before deputies arrived, is described as a white male, possibly in his 30s, with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.

He was last seen running into the woods towards Long Ferry Road.
